District Library
Harbor Beach Area District Library offers a multitude of information, activities and services. Books, magazines, audiobooks, music CDs, movies, newspapers are available. Services include copies, fax, disc cleaning, laminating, computers with internet access, and Wi-Fi access. Some activities include Story Time, Summer Reading, Book Discussion Group, and Painting Class. Library hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday noon to 8pm and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 9am to 5pm. Community
Theatre
The Harbor Beach Community Theatre is an historic building with tremendously appealing aesthetics fit for theater productions. Although the building has many uses in the community, it is primarily used as a digital movie theater.
Community House
The Community Center has rooms, including the Boy Scout Room, Children’s Room, Citizens Room, Common Room, and Women’s Club Room, as well as a gymnasium available for community members to use and rent. Civic groups and schools can use the rooms and gym at no charge. There are nominal fees for private and profit groups. The gym is available from 10am to 9pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-3:30pm Saturday and Sunday. Call the library at 989-479-3417 to check availability and reserve a time.
