The cement top of the water tank has been used for various activities over the years including roller skating and basketball. In 2023 four pickleball courts were built and the courts were painted in the spring of 2024. The basketball court was also painted. These courts are currently available for use by all locals and visitors on a first come - first serve basis. The basketball court is used each year during the Maritime Festival for the Beach Assault 3 on 3 Tournament. Future plans include adding pickleball tournaments and leagues.
